Nightshift Superintendent

About the role

We are currently seeking a Nightshift Superintendent to join us on the Eastern Freeway Burke to Tram Alliance. We have a strong pipeline with many opportunities for career progression right here in Victoria.

Key responsibilities

You will be responsible for, and not limited to;

Responsible for managing a team of supervisors and/or subcontractors and accountable for managing the interface and delivery requirements with other work areas, disciplines and project functions.  Ensure a safe work environment is provided at all times and the safety of all employees is managed.  Supporting and providing input into the development of work packs and understanding the deliverables across all functions.  Ensure the company’s HSE standards are understood and upheld at your workplace and proactively deal with HSE and concerns. Ensure all works are completed in accordance with the client quality requirements and Australian standards / codes. 

About you

A relevant trade qualification combined with significant civil construction delivery experience in the construction/infrastructure industry. A collaborative style of leadership and effective communication both written and oral Have excellent client interface, coordination, time management and safety leadership skills. Ability to manage a large team demonstrating our project values. You have a focus on developing a great culture within your team and the wider project. Sound experience and competency in the Construction Industry, preferably large infrastructure projects. Sound knowledge of Australian Standards, Industry Codes and Procedures. Strong interpersonal skills particularly stakeholder consultation and subcontractor collaboration.
