About the role

We are currently looking for a customer focused Production Print Service Technician to join our NSW team.

The objective of the position is to install, maintain, service and repair Konica Minolta products and services. This will be a hands on role, providing technical diagnostic support for our range of production print products.

Whilst you will visit the Konica Minolta office and warehouse to collect parts, you will be on the road extensively. We are looking for a person who can work collaboratively within a self-directed work team. Konica Minolta will provide a fully maintained vehicle, required tools and equipment, training and manuals.

Requirements

To be qualified for this position, ideally your background and skills will comprise of the following:

  • Your strong technical aptitude, troubleshooting skills and professional approach, as well as a positive attitude in dealing with customers and colleagues, are essential attributes for this role.
  • A keen desire to learn and apply new skills will be encouraged in the Konica Minolta environment that fosters continuous employee development.
  • Corrective Servicing: Analysing, diagnosing and rectifying equipment issues to minimize downtime.
  • Preventative Servicing: Service and maintain installed equipment including scheduled maintenance visits.
  • Reporting on service faults
  • Installation: after training, Field Service Engineers will be involved in the commissioning of equipment installations.
  • Conduct training sessions on use and basic maintenance of systems if required.
  • Ensure that your equipment, spares and vehicle kit is always complete according to inventory list.
  • Stay informed and up to date with Konica Minolta’s products and services

Essential requirements for this role:

  • Demonstrated experience a similar role and/or network, IT and technical knowledge/understanding
  • Collaborative approach to work and stakeholders both internal and external
  • Experience in a technically oriented customer support role in an industrial environment
  • Customer oriented professional with excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills with the ability to drive own workload in collaboration with the team
  • Safety: able to demonstrate strong awareness of safety procedures and practices in previous positions;
  • We are also looking for people who’s past history demonstrates: professionalism, the ability to work independently, reliability, and a sense of pride in what they do
  • Driver’s License and Working with Children Check
  • Covid Vaccination required to be maintained for this position
