SYNACO are looking for a experienced operator or leading hand that can manage a civil crew small to medium earthworks including pad preparation and final trim, bitumen and pavement prep and other general earthworks related to general construction and trenching for the in house plumbing team.

About you

  • Stable work history with previous employers
  • Knowledge of commercial WHS Standards
  • Maintains a positive safety culture
  • Drivers license and truck license
  • Experienced using various plant and machinery
  • Able to work in  a team environment

Qualifications and experience

  • Truck license HR or HC
  • Competent and experienced in in the use of roller, excavators or from 1.5t to 25t and skidsteers
  • Preference for fork lift, boom lift and telehandler license
  • Experienced working with other trades, such as Electricians and Plumbers
  • Experience in trenching, pipelaying and backfilling
  • Experience in bulk earthworks for site preparation, including achieving required compaction levels and to grade
  • Able to perform final trim on excavator
  • Preparation works for asphalt, paving and concrete
  • Experience in working with concrete and laying paving  
  • Experience in installation of stormwater pits, tanks and systems, including wet systems.
  • Experience in servicing and maintaining plant and equipment.
  • White Card
  • Able to read plans
