We are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to join our team  

We have an exciting opportunity for a strategic digital marketing manager to join our brand marketing team. Reporting to the Head of Brand, you will be responsible for the delivery of digital campaigns that generate leads, strengthen client relationships, and grow the Nous brand.

You will play a critical role in progressing the team’s adoption of marketing automation (through Salesforce Account Engagement/Pardot) and maturity in digital communications, improving our advertising and channel performance, and sharing emerging trends and approaches to digital marketing in professional services so we can continuously evolve and improve. This is an exciting role for an adaptable and creative thinker that will offer a great deal of variety, intellectual stimulation, and the chance to help shape Nous’ digital marketing strategy and optimise our platforms for the future.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ongoing management of the Nous Group website - monitoring performance and workflow, publishing content, and looking for opportunities to improve functionality and user experience.

  • Reviewing and optimising SEO, and our use of third-party platforms across our website including GA4, Account Engagement forms, Ceros and Monsido.

  • Managing relationships with external suppliers, including our freelance web developer and digital agencies, digital advertising partners (social and media).

  • Work closely with our Head of Brand on the delivery and performance monitoring of our digital advertising – across owned and other media channels.

  • Working with content and design team members to develop and deliver rich and engaging eDMs to our clients.

  • Lead and continuously improve our approach to Salesforce Account Engagement – including everything from campaign list management, reporting and template design for different customer segments – to refining our lead-scoring approach, automation rules and better integration with our Salesforce CRM.

  • Work with our colleagues in IT and Client Development where required to optimise our approach to Salesforce across the business, looking for opportunities to improve reporting, contact data and user experience across the marketing funnel.

  • Help build capability of the broader marketing team in digital and social media marketing, including sharing best practice, emerging trends, and new opportunities for Nous.

  • Provide digital marketing advice and execution support to our marketing campaign teams.

  • Provide ad hoc advice to Nous and NousCubane colleagues on all digital marketing and marketing technology questions as they arise.

The practical skills desirable:

  • 5+ years’ experience in a digital marketing role, preferably in a professional services or B2B environment.

  • Hands-on experience with web publishing, digital advertising and email marketing.

  • Experience with Salesforce Account Engagement/Pardot strongly preferred.

  • Experience managing relationships with external suppliers and being accountable for delivering against business plans and budgets.

  • Experience leading end-to-end digital and social media strategies and adapting creative to suit different channels and audiences.

  • A thoughtful, consultative approach and a commitment to providing appropriate marketing solutions for your internal ‘clients’.

  • Exceptional project management skills and the ability to manage your time effectively, delivering upon a range of tasks within a range of deadlines.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior executives and stakeholders.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills.

  • Intellectual flexibility, and the ability to integrate new information and switch from the detail to the big picture.

  • The ability to interpret, then draw insights from data and systems.

  • The willingness to work with a distributed team across Australia, Canada and the UK.

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in marketing, media communications or similar (desirable but not essential).
