Your new career

Reporting to the Director – People Advisory, the Talent Acquisition Advisor will work as part of a dynamic People and Performance team, and partner with the business to recruit talent, share insights about each candidate’s fit, and advise and implement hiring best practices.  This role will be part of the wider Practice Management Group in the Brisbane office.

Your core duties will include

  • Drawing up engaging adverts which reflect the brand and attract the right level and quality of applicants
  • Working with Partners/Managers to review and amend job descriptions which accurately reflect requirements of the position
  • Liaising with external recruitment providers to advise of internal process and negotiate associated recruitment fees
  • Utilising social media such as LinkedIn/Internal Recruitment Apps, and following a proactive talent search approach in order to reduce recruitment costs and source the best talent
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines of strategic and difficult to source talent to support proactive recruitment
  • Managing candidates through the whole recruitment process from taking initial enquires to processing applications and CV’s, interviewing, reference taking and offer negotiation
  • Responding to job queries in a professional way again maintaining the brand and values
  • Support the Advisors with global mobility processes and paperwork
  • Working closely with Early Careers Coordinator on the Early Careers Program
  • Regular reporting
  • Project work

Who we’re after

  • Proven experience with recruiting, ideally with a financial/professional services focus
  • Tertiary qualifications in a HR or business-related field preferred
  • Proven candidate sourcing and relationship building skills
  • Excellent communication skills – oral and written
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills
  • Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
  • Ability to analyse and report accurately
  • Superior stakeholder management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities while remaining focused on excellence. 
  • Strong team player

Key to your success will be your drive, enthusiasm and your proven ability to build business relationships across the firm to earn the status of a trusted talent/recruitment advisor. Given the nature of the role consideration will be given to supporting flexible working arrangements and hours for suitable candidates looking to make their mark in this internal recruitment role.
