About the Role
As a result of internal movement, we are looking for an experienced DC Planning Manager to be based at our Altona North DC (Distribution Centre). The role will initially be based at the Altona North DC before moving to our brand new, custom-built facility in Truganina due for completion in 2025.
Reporting to the National Planning Manager, the DC Planning Manager - Labour & Flow is responsible for managing the labour plan and forecasting, linking brand supply planning to achievable product flow based on shift planning and labour resourcing availability.
Working closely as the conduit between the Super Retail Group distribution centres, group supply chain departments and retail brands, your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Developing and delivering labour plans for DC Operations delivery Supporting DC labour reliability and owning the DC labour planning for contingent workforce Reviewing brand supply plans and managing changes to plans and forecasts Supporting commercial forecasts Supporting capacity managementAbout you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Proven experience in a DC Planning Manager capacity Extensive Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot tables, financial and operational modelling Experience in financial reporting & forecasting KPI Management for multi-dimensional operational planning, including labour planning and financial targets, and tracking and reporting performance to targets Data Analysis skills and the ability to take inputs from multiple sources and construct a detailed plan Understanding of multi-product, multi-customer product movementsYour ability to work with broad stakeholder groups as well as manage operational decisions with complex priorities will be key to this role.
