About the Position
Located at our Abri Residential Service based in Southport on the Gold Coast, we are launching our "Specialist Dementia Care Program". The SDCP unit provides a person centred, multidisciplinary approach to caring for people with very severe Behavioural and Psychological Symptoms of Dementia (BPSD) that are overwhelmed in mainstream aged care services. Residents are provided with intensive support with a focus on stabilising and reducing the person’s symptoms over time with the aim of enabling transition to a mainstream aged care service.

We are looking for Enrolled Nurses to join our team to provide comprehensive and holistic nursing assessments, working with our experienced Registered Nurses to plan care based on the outcomes of assessment, utilising contemporary evidence based clinical knowledge and case management of residents. We are looking at recruiting a team of part-time and casual Enrolled Nurses to fill our SDCP unit roster with flexibility being given to ensure that the right people are recruited.

About You
As an Enrolled Nurse with Dementia training and passion you will need to be flexible and enthusiastic, with a dedication to providing care and support within the SDCP model. 

You will have:

Current National Police Check Diploma of Nursing Current registration with AHPRA and evidence of recent practice Experience in provision of care services specifically for people with dementia  Residential aged care experience and a commitment to continuous improvement Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal and an ability to work effectively within a team environment, Compassion and enthusiasm, with a friendly, approachable attitude Client-centred care to residents and their families which respects and protects their rights, privacy & wellbeing Covid Vaccination evidence What we offer:
