HR Advisor

• Permanent position offering a desirable salary and benefits including a 9 day fortnight

About the Company:
Are you an experienced HR professional with a passion for the mining industry? We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Advisor to join a leading mining company on a mine site. This is a permanent role that offers the chance to make a significant impact on-site operations and support a dynamic HR team. Roster for this position is a 9 day fortnight. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the recruitment process, including interviewing and onboarding new employees directly at the site.
• Handle data entry and setup within the organisations learning and asset management platform
• Collaborate and provide support with various HR activities on-site, ensuring effective HR processes and practices.
• Perform a range of administrative HR duties, including maintaining employee records, managing HR documentation, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Develop, Implement, Monitor and Review the Employee Engagement Experience System ensuring smooth transition from one process to the next, including the repetitive processes such as performance and conduct review and development plans.
• Performance and Conduct Management
• Developing and amending current HR Standards and Procedures
• Analysing and reporting on HR Metrics

Qualifications:

• 2+ years’ experience across human resources ideally in the mining industry similar industrial sector.
• Familiarity with learning and training systems is highly desirable.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with employees and management.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail.
