- Working on quotes for sub-contractors & suppliers - large industrial projects.
- Liaising with sales and PMs to manage project handovers - heavy manufacturing.
- 12 RDO's per year, Company Bonus, Flexi-Time, $70 to $100k base subject to exp.
Company and You:
A large Manufacturing business based in Toowoomba, established 50 years ago, employs 400 +, and services several industries including mining, transport, government, and agriculture.
They require an Estimator with an understanding of Australian Standards and Codes, strong communication skills, 3 to 5 years experience preparing tender submissions, quotes, and other procurement duties.
Responsibilities:
- Responding to quotes and order inquiries, communicating openly and honestly with clients.
- Preparing tenders and accurate quotes for a wide variety of products and projects.
- Communicate with clients, and external stakeholders covering accurate project cost estimates.
- Working closely with PMs, and sales professionals on new and existing bids and proposals as well as orders and materials.
- Oversee design checklists, and conduct quality audits.
- Ordering materials from suppliers.
- Site measurement, and sketching of detailed drawings that can then be passed to the drawing office.
- Support management through weekly, monthly, and annual reporting.
Salary:
Our client offers competitive remuneration packages, which vary with regards to experience, $70,000 to $100,000 + Super depending on experience.
