Charles O'Neill Hostel is our 80 bed home located in Mayfield West, NSW. We have opportunities for Catering Assistants and a Cook to join our team on a permanent part time basis. The shift times we have available are:

  • Morning: 7:00am - 2:00pm
  • Afternoon: 2:00pm - 7:00pm

Catholic Healthcare's Charles O'Neill home is on the lookout for Catering Assistants and a Cook to join our team to provide exceptional service for our residents.

In this role, you will work closely with our Chef and will assist with the preparation of fresh meals for our residents and ensuring that their nutritional requirements are always met. You will also deliver meals to our residents in a professional and efficient matter and maintain cleanliness in our dining room and servery areas.

To be successful in this role you’ll need:

  • A fabulous attitude ESSENTIAL 
  • Previous experience in a similar role within Aged Care 
  • Knowledge in food preparation and safe food handling
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Updated knowledge on HSW guidelines and HACCP requirements
  • A Certificate in Hospitality / Food Safety is highly regarded
  • A genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
  • NDIS check or willing to obtain
