About the role:

Having enjoyed solid growth to date, a Civil Engineering Draftsperson is now sought to join our friendly team. The role will be responsible for the following key tasks:

  • Performing design calculations for structures and civil engineering projects;
  • Handling drafting tasks, including the development of drawings from initial concepts to detailed, finalised drawings;
  • Utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software for creating designs and drawings;
  • Reviewing and revising drawings based on feedback from architects and engineers;
  • Monitoring variations to designs and assessing effects on cost and schedule;
  • Conducting on-site inspections and preparing detailed reports;
  • Collecting and analysing data, and carrying out computations including preparing cost estimations;
  • Inspecting civil engineering works and and ensuring finished works are within contract provisions including organising and supervising maintenance and repair work;
  • Producing engineering reports, specifications, and design documents;
  • Collecting, calculating, and comparing data for budgeting purposes.

About the candidate:
