We are an independent, registered charity providing front line support to young people and people experiencing homelessness to open pathways out of poverty and homelessness - breaking the cycle of disadvantage. Our focus is on respect, client-centred care, and harm prevention so people can lead longer lives, have improved health, meaningful employment, and a greater sense of belonging, safety, and security through our holistic model of care.

- 80% of the young people we supported landed sustainable employment or education outcomes
- More than 150,000 coffees were sold through our social enterprise cafes with $73K profit re-directed into homelessness and youth services
- Experienced 130,000+ contacts through our harm minimisation program
- Awarded ‘Great Place to Work’ 2022 and 2023
- Providing a safe and inclusive workplace as 88% of our 2024 workforce identifying to have lived or living experience

A bit about the role
As an Employment Service Administrator, you will be an essential member of our team, ensuring the successful management of the Transition to Work (TtW) program's wage subsidy processes. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing wage subsidy approvals and the reimbursement process, guaranteeing that all steps are completed efficiently and in a timely manner. You will also support Recruitment Partners by managing various back-end administrative tasks, which may involve assisting with candidate pre-screening, job postings, and maintaining accurate records.
In this role, you will play a vital part in fostering positive relationships with employers, contributing to a supportive environment that promotes successful employment outcomes.
Your attention to detail and organisational skills will help streamline recruitment activities, enabling our team to focus on delivering impactful support to those transitioning into the workforce. By ensuring that all administrative processes run smoothly, you will help enhance the overall effectiveness of the TtW program and drive our mission forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage timely approvals and the reimbursement process for wage subsidies.
- Assist Recruitment Partners with candidate pre-screening and job postings.
- Perform back-end administrative tasks to streamline recruitment efforts.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless program operations.
