The Role

We are looking for a grounds and maintenance officer to join our Donvale Village Team, located at Donvale, this role offers the opportunity for a gardener to provide grounds and gardening maintenance services to look after the front/rear yards and common areas. 

What you will do

  • Maintain and implement scheduled grounds maintenance and presentation of the stunning gardens including pruning plantings, hedging, weeding, propagating, fertilising, and watering.
  • Backup maintenance service during the absence of the maintenance officer

What we like about you

  • An interest in pruning, weeding, hedging, minor paving repairs, tree management, planting, transplanting and propagating plants. 
  • Fit and be able to operate garden machinery, work from a ladder and do pole extension work for long periods of time.
  • Enjoy physical, hands-on work, being in the outdoors
  • Experienced and self-driven who works well autonomously, under pressure and meets deadlines.
  • Reliable and personable ensuring a positive experience to our residents
  • Ability to pass a National Police Check
