What does the job look like?

Linfox’s Intermodal business unit is currently seeking an MC driver to complete predominantly interstate and some intrastate deliveries to our customers timber yard. As a part of this role, you will be required to operate our automatic Volvo or Mercedies fleet pulling a combination of one A trailer and one B trailer. Travelling approximately 3000+ kilometres per week to and from Melbourne, Adelaide, Mount Gambier and occasionally Queensland. Your work week will typically run from Monday to Friday pending site requirements. Key areas:

Working on a weekly roster Monday to Friday on day and afternoon shift.Driving to Linfox Safety Standards at all times and ensuring that Vision Zero is a daily focus.Providing excellent customer service and representing Linfox in a professional manner.Good knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and road transport legislation.Ability to safely manage fatigue.
