As the Lubrication Technician, your primary responsibility is to support the Maintenance Team Leaders in safely maintaining the condition and production capacity of the SMR plant and be the first point of contact for all lubrication practices at the SMR site.


Key responsibilities will be:

Execute approved maintenance lubrication strategies and scheduling of the works Identify opportunities for improved asset performance and recommend appropriate changes to support plant performance Provide technical support for all lubrication issues and standardise the plant, equipment, services and systems where practical Drive continuous improvement of lubrication practices and standards on site to support further advancement in equipment reliability and performance Support maintenance team with execution of other mechanical trade based activities as required

You will have:

Mechanical trade and/or technician certificate Demonstrated experience in fixed plant maintenance Sound understanding of principles of lubrication and their application to fixed process plant  Understanding of maintenance principles and plant improvement processes

Administration functions and ore pelletising and port facilities are located within the city limits of Whyalla, with corporate functions based in Adelaide and Sydney.
