The Opportunity

Perm full-time position based in our stunning Port Melbourne office. Opportunity for flexible hours - 0.8 FTE for the right candidate.

About You

  • Hold strong analytical skills and excel in forecasting and inventory management
  • Strong ability to build rapport and work collaboratively with others
  • Results-orientated, proven experience utilising organisation’s resources to achieve outcomes
  • Strong computer literacy, advanced Excel skills, and experience with inventory management software
  • Qualifications or relevant experience in planning or related fields

Your Responsibilities

  • Optimise inventory levels by balancing demand forecasts with supplier capabilities
  • Utilise historical sales data, trends, and customer insights to forecast future demand
  • Leverage ERP and demand planning software to automate forecasting processes
  • Collaborate with suppliers, sourcing, planning, sales, marketing, and supply chain teams
  • Identify potential risks to demand forecasts and develop contingency plans
  • Monitor key performance indicators to measure and improve demand planning processes
  • Assess demand potential for new products and incorporate them into forecasts
  • Propose and implement improvements to streamline processes and enhance planning accuracy
  • Provide support to team members on tasks and projects as required
