About the role:
We seek a skilled Solution Architect with expertise in Commercial Insurance to join our team. This role entails overseeing domains like Policy, Pricing, Brokers, and Partnerships, requiring strategic thinking to deliver diverse programs aligning with business goals and tech advancements. The architect will lead transformation initiatives, managing RFPs, modernizing systems, and facilitating partner transitions. Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and provide architectural guidance for domains including Policy, Pricing, Brokers, and Partnerships within the Commercial Insurance sector.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and define architectural strategies to address business needs effectively.
- Lead architectural aspects of diverse programs such as RFP processes for new partners, migration from old to new technologies, and partner onboarding/offboarding initiatives.
- Develop and maintain program roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technological advancements.
- Design robust and scalable solutions that meet business requirements and adhere to architectural standards and best practices.
- Utilize architectural principles to ensure solutions are secure, efficient, and maintainable.
- Identify challenges and bottlenecks in existing processes and systems and propose innovative solutions to address them.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues and mitigate risks effectively.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect within the Commercial Insurance industry, with a strong understanding of domains such as Policy, Pricing, Brokers, and Partnerships.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering architectural solutions for diverse programs, including RFP processes, technology migrations, and partner onboarding/offboarding initiatives.
- In-depth knowledge of architectural frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering tangible outcomes and driving continuous improvement.
