Job Description

Provide on-site analytical testing at the Perth Airport laboratory. Ensuring the safe and efficient running of our contracted laboratory operation and performing a range of analytical tests with minimal supervision.

Your key responsibilities in this role will include but are not limited to:

  • This role performs the vital task of ensuring all the samples are registered by the end of day and that all the samples received are placed in cue for analysis
  • Sample enrolment in LIMS1 and SOPHIA, working towards “superuser” for these systems.
  • Meet customer expectations with regard to turn around time and quality of analytical results
  • Ensure sample traceability internally and externally
  • Assist with the supply of sampling kits/equipment to customer sites
  • Assist with customer queries and confirm analysis required with clients where required
  • Apply technical knowledge to the appropriate registration parameters within the lab database
  • Maintain consumable stock levels
  • Provide general support to the Operations Manager

Qualifications

  • Relevant Technical School qualifications or tertiary studies.
  • Demonstrated experience in handling Petrochemical, Gas or Chemical Products.
  • Proficient computer software literacy.
  • Knowledge in Quality Systems
