Job Description

Calling all skilled loader operators We're searching for a dedicated Loader Operator for our client's Crop Shed in Ballarat, VIC. You'll be at the centre of harvesting operations, ensuring smooth storage and movement of materials.

What You'll Do:

This dynamic role will keep you busy with tasks like:

  • Operating a wheeled loader to handle and store harvested pyrethrum crops and stockfeed in the Crop Shed, maximizing storage space.
  • Coordinating bulk deliveries within the shed alongside Weighbridge Operators, following all safety protocols.
  • Performing routine maintenance on equipment, including loaders, and advising the supervisor on fuel needs and major repairs.
  • Keeping the workspace clean and free of dust and fire hazards, including loader cleaning.
  • Assisting with weighbridge operations, truck loading, storage operations, and limited equipment repairs.
  • Documenting tasks in logbooks for quality control.
  • Supporting the Pellet Plant operator as needed and carrying out other tasks assigned by your supervisor.

Your Skills & Experience:

We're seeking candidates who bring:

  • Proven experience in loader operations
  • Mechanical aptitude and experience in performing maintenance
  • Forklift experience (highly desirable)
  • Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
