Software Engineer, backend

Proven experience as a Backend Engineer working in .Net Core (5 or above). Support millions of Zip’s customers utilising the best in class tech stack and ship quality work at pace.  Hybrid working with team connect days three days per week.

As a Senior Software Engineer in our Accounts squad, your code will be at the heart of the experience that more than 3.5 million customers have with Zip. You will also help to guide and mentor a high-performing team of engineers to deliver quality work.

Accounts is responsible for maintaining the many databases and platform integrations related to how a customer transacts with us, from sign-up and onboarding to repayments, this is business-critical work that depends on Engineers who enjoy ownership and embrace change.

Overall between 1-4 years of experience in developing enterprise level software with experience in .NetCore Technical experience across design principles and code quality Comfortable challenging directly whilst caring personally Experience on working with SQL / No SQL Database

Experience with the below is a bonus

Experience in developing microservices that are scalable and reliable  Experience working with any Loan Management Systems Experience with GraphQL Experience with any Datalake / Data warehouse solutions such as Snowflake
