Principal Engineer

About the role

The Senior Project Engineer – Rail Systems is responsible for the design of systems and processes in accordance with project specifications and as guided or directed by the Design Manager.

· Assist in preparing designs in accordance with the company design process, engineering instructions and quality procedures

· Assist in reviewing and resolving queries with the Verification Engineer regarding designs

· Attend design reviews as requested by the Project Engineer/Design Engineer

· Assist in problem solving using a variety of standard engineering methods and techniques or methods proposed by the Chief Engineer

About You

· Bachelor of Electrical Engineering 

· Obtain QR competency

· Detailed level of experienced with Signalling and Electrical Design Principals

· Excellent communication skills both written and oral, with a strong ability to negotiate and influence
