Your why 

As a HR Analyst at ubank, you will optimise HR processes and data systems, leveraging HRIS, analysing the employee lifecycle, building datasets, and using Power BI and cloud-based analytics for strategic insights.

This role reports directly to the People Operations & Projects Lead. 

How you will spend your time 

As a HR Analyst your key responsibilities include: 

  • HRIS Management - Maintain and optimise HRIS, ensuring data integrity and providing user support. Configure HRIS modules and resolve system issues.
    Employee Lifecycle Analysis - Monitor and report on recruitment, onboarding, development, retention, and offboarding. Develop metrics to enhance employee engagement and performance.
  • Data Management and Reporting - Build and maintain HR datasets, ensuring data reliability. Use of SQL to extract from data sources. Facilitating reporting for cyclical processes, projects and knowing the why for what insights you're measuring for.
  • Predictive Modeling and Analytics - Develop predictive models to forecast HR trends. Create dashboards and reports using Power BI for actionable insights. Conduct regular data audits for compliance.
  • Cloud-Based Analytics - Implement cloud-based analytics solutions and ensure integration with HRIS. Enhance data accessibility and collaboration through cloud platforms.
  • Collaboration and Communication - Work with HR, IT, and other departments to understand data needs with a focus on compliance. Present findings to stakeholders clearly and concisely. Participate in cross-functional projects to drive HR improvements.

What you will bring 

Essential 

  •  2+ years of experience in a similar position of a HR Analyst role.
  • Excellent interpersonal & stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to analyse and present recommendations through data analytics.
  • Experience working with cloud-based analytics platforms.
  • Advanced Microsoft excel experience. 
  • Process driven mindset.
  • System experience including Power BI & SQL.

Desirable 

  • Experience with Microsoft suite, Slack and Confluence (or other collaboration tools).
  • Experience with Dayforce HRIS highly desirable.
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR, Psychology, Data & Analytics or a related field is highly valued.
