About the Role

An exciting opportunity to join BOQ Business Bank as a Product Manager, Commercial Lending Acquisition and Retention on a permanent full-time basis.

As a Product Manager, Commercial Lending Acquisition and Retention at BOQ Group, you will be a vital part of the Business Lending Product team, focusing on managing the Business Term Loan, Commercial/Market Rate Loan, Business Overdraft and Bank Guarantee Facility products.

Your role will involve driving portfolio growth, maintaining sustainable returns and keeping the customer and lender experience at the centre of everything we do. You will also manage the risk profile of the business, ensuring risk is managed appropriately and compliance with the Banking Code of Practice and other regulation.

Key Accountabilities:

Driving balance sheet growth whilst optimising returns and focusing on key customer outcomes Manage risk of the commercial lending products (incidents, controls, issues) Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and industry code of conduct Identify and deliver initiatives that support a positive customer and lender experience, growth and returns Maintain an understanding of the portfolio and provide insights on its contribution to the balance sheet

This position reports directly to the Senior Product Manager, Commercial Lending Acquisition and Retention and does not have direct reports.

About you

You have a can-do attitude, a proven track record of delivery and are a keen problem solver. You're a team player who works well with others and is comfortable talking to a broad range of people including lenders, suppliers, internal partners as well as senior stakeholders. You're well versed within the financial services industry (preferably within business lending) with relevant work experience at a financial institution and are keen to progress your knowledge of business banking to the next level.
