A top 10 mid-tier firm is seeking a Corporate Tax Director/Partner to join their dynamic Brisbane team. As an integral member of the Corporate Tax team, you will deliver integrated advice to private business owners, family groups, and high-net-worth clients. Key responsibilities:
  • Provide customized technical income tax advice tailored to client needs.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, assisting with compliance related to related party loans, tax planning, and structuring advice.
  • Manage tax compliance and governance frameworks for large client groups, including those with significant trusts.
  • Assist dynamic clients in navigating transactions by providing strategic tax insights and support.
  • Advise on business structuring and conduct tax due diligence to optimize tax positions.
  • Address tax issues affecting cross-border investments and structures, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
  • Assist with submissions, reviews, and audits conducted by revenue authorities.
Requirements:
  • Qualification(s) or professional accreditation(s) in Business/Commerce, Accounting or Finance, or other relevant qualifications.
  • Significant relevant experience in a professional services environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to present technical advice effectively.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with strong written and spoken communication abilities.
  • Willingness and ability to provide coaching and mentorship to less experienced team members.
