About the role
We are seeking applications for a Radiographer in Charge to lead the Queensland X-ray practice at Logan Central. The practice offers a range of diagnostic imaging services including General X-ray, CT, MRI and Ultrasound.

The Radiographer in Charge will be responsible for the operational delivery of medical imaging services under the direction of the Managing Radiologist and in accordance with the Queensland X-ray operational requirements.

• Provide managerial leadership of the Medical Imaging team
• Provide guidance to the operations team for the purpose of workforce planning and capability strategies to achieve enhancement and efficiency in service delivery
• Provide managerial leadership of the practice under the direction of the operations team
• Lead the development of service improvement initiatives to ensure the provision of high quality Medical Imaging services
• Deliver advanced level medical imaging clinical services
• Apply expertise to solve clinical service or workflow problems
• Collaborate with practice leaders across the Brisbane South region and Queensland X-ray wide to ensure effective service delivery and enhance quality outcomes
• Foster and promote a workplace culture than aligns with the Sonic Core Values

About you

• Advanced level clinical skills in general radiography and CT (including interventional procedures)
• Experience in Canon CT preferred
• MRI experience is advantageous but not essential
• Able to demonstrate leadership qualities or prior leadership experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with patients, referring doctors and other members of the medical imaging team
