Your New Opportunity:

An excellent full time, permanent opportunity has arisen for a Purchasing Supervisor to join our Team at our National Parts Distribution Centre (PDC) located in Wacol, Brisbane. This role will suit highly motivated and experienced individuals with the ability to supervise a team.

Your major responsibility will include overseeing the day to day operations of Purchasing Team and vendors, supervising the performance of the Purchasing Officers within the PDC Parts Business.

About you:

  • Strong customer focus.
  • Proven track record of supervising / managing teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer application skills.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Previous Purchasing experience, along with Parts product knowledge and familiarity with heavy vehicle and / or engine industry.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Administration experience.
  • Account / Business Development 
  • Diploma or certificate in Business Administration well regarded but not essential.
