About Our Client
Our client is an Asian-based tech start-up with a wide portfolio of various consumer smart product categories. In line of the new product launch in smart fitness categories in 2024, they are looking for a seasoned financial advisor that can come up with the ongoing global fund-raising strategies.
Job Description
Reporting directly to the founder who already has a strong founding team that has been running a number of successful tech ventures previously, this individual, who can be based in any locations globally, will be joining as the interim financial advisor that gives direction on the global fund-raising strategies. Following the successful agreement with a global sports brand on the new smart fitness product launch in 2024, you will be working together with the leadership team about the overall product value proposition, pricing strategies and most importantly project the appropriate revenue forecast so that you can give a clear and concise picture to potential investors, with the ultimate goal of raising another round of funds so that the company is ready for the next stage of development.In longer term, this candidate can possibly join as CFO or Chief Strategy Officer and be part of leadership team.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate should be a finance professional with proven fund-raising track record in the global market - ideally with investor network in space of consumer tech or consumer product categories.
Strong industry knowledge in smart product categories (especially smart fitness) will be ideal.
You should be a former CFO or investment professional in private equity/venture capital space. Alternatively you should be a specialist in fund-raising consultancy.
