About the opportunity  

We’re looking for a Freight Handler with a Forklift Licence to join our diverse and hard-working team. As our next Bulk Forklift Driver, you will possess excellent problem-solving and people skills, have vast knowledge of the Brisbane Metro area and set a high standard of Safety. With e-commerce booming, our freight handlers are the folks making sure consignments are correctly loaded so we can get deliveries out to our customers, fast.

You’ll be

• Happy to work afternoon shift hours 
• Using your strong work ethic to help us keep delivering great service 
• Handloading parcels and cartons from conveyor belts into trucks, ready for our drivers to head out on the road 
• Unloading trucks when drivers get back to the warehouse 
• Wrapping freight by hand or using a shrink wrapper (you know - like the ones at the airport), electronically scanning parcels and updating documentation. 

About you 

• You will have a forklift licence 
• You’re fit and can lift at least 30kg repeatedly – we assess this at a pre-employment medical check to help make sure you’re safe on the job 
• You’re laser focused, even when the role gets repetitive 
• You’re a team player, passionate about helping our team keep the community connected 
• You’re also an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident 
• If you’ve got a forklift licence that’s a plus, since this comes handy moving freight around the warehouse
