Treasury Accountant

An established business that is continuing to grow and diversity is looking to recruit a ‘Treasury/Financial Accountant’ on a permanent basis.

 
Role:                 Treasury/Financial Accountant
Type:                12-month fixed term contract
Salary:              Depending on experience
Location:           Sydney South (Wollongong area)
Work type:        Office based

Responsibilities:

• Manage Treasury Back Office function for Australia and New Zealand
• Oversee the Treasury Back Office operations
• Oversee Treasury end-of-day processes
• Perform monthly revaluations of open hedge positions and foreign currency bank accounts
• Prepare accurate reconciliations to ensure financial integrity
• Prepare month end Group Treasury Intercompany settlements
• Prepare daily and monthly cash flow forecasts
• Enter FX and commodity deals into the Treasury Management System
• Administer inhouse financing
• Administer and facilitate Letter of Credit financing as required
• Maintain Standard Settlement Instructions and bank signatories as required
• Ensure Treasury policies and controls are adhered to
• Assist with internal and external audit reviews
• Assist with other duties as required

Qualifications & Skills:

• Degree in Accounting, Commerce or Finance
• CPA, CA, or Professional Accounting qualification
• Strong communication skills
• Team player
• Strong computing skills
• High level organisations skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities
• Excellent attention to detail
