Job Description

: Team Management : Day-to-day team management and spokesman of the Import/Export team and responsible for the team capacity management. Support and coach team members in their day-to-day job and be the point of contact for any operational quickly and effectively. Network Relationship: Actively build strong relationships within Maersk network, by liaising with regional and Central teams to align on our standard business processes, service needs, drivers and global requirements Customer Experience: Own customer experience and lead the team to achieve best-in-class Customer Service. Process execution: Ensure smooth execution of the end-to-end shipment by working closely with all stakeholders internal and external. Standard Adherence : Adhering to processes in line with the agreed execution standards and customer specific IOP’s and monitor respective KPI’s. Business growth : Identify and execute upselling opportunities, as well as drive through the network and collaborate with product teams.

Job Requirements:

Strong Ocean import and export end to end process knowledge. Cargowise knowledge and experience. Experience in handling & processing dangerous goods/Hazardous export shipments- DG qualified inc DG Hub and Ships lodgement experience. Experience in Trans Tasman Trade would be a bonus. Ability to work to deadlines and to own a task from beginning to end. Willingness to adapt and can embrace change. Good people leadership skills. Good interpersonal, communication and excellent negotiating skills. Ability to engage and link multiple parties across functions and geographies. Ability to understand and interpret performance data. Preferred candidates will be required to undertake reference checks as well as pre-employment screening, including a National Police Check.
