We are seeking a skilled and motivated Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations within the production facility of our client. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing production lines, ensuring optimal productivity, maintaining high product quality, and upholding safety standards. This role involves working closely with various departments to ensure that production goals are met efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the production team and manage performance.
  • Train staff and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and manage production schedules and resources.
  • Maintain quality standards and oversee quality checks.
  • Lead initiatives to improve product quality and efficiency.
  • Promote safety culture and ensure compliance.
  • Conduct safety training, inspections, and manage incidents.
  • Identify inefficiencies and use data to drive decisions.
  • Control costs and reduce waste.
  • Report production status and challenges to management.
  • Communicate effectively with the team and address customer concerns.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years experience within the dairy industry. 
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and mentoring production teams.
  • A qualification in Dairy or Food Processing is highly desirable; competitive Manufacturing or Engineering qualifications also considered.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of inspiring and managing teams.
  • Capability to make timely decisions while upholding high quality and safety standards.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to provide on-call support as required.
