Stella Maris Catholic Primary School is situated at 24 - 28 Futuna Avenue, Burnie on the North West Coast of Tasmania. The school site overlooks Bass Strait and is approximately 2 km from the city centre and is close to hospitals, TAFE and Marist Regional College.

Stella Maris Catholic Primary School is a co-educational Catholic School situated in Burnie, catering for 431 students from Kindergarten to Grade 6.

Part Time: 0.8 FTE
Limited Tenure
(25 March 24 – 27 September 24)

The successful candidate must have a genuine commitment to the philosophy and ethos of Catholic Education, and a willingness to participate in all aspects of life at Stella Maris Catholic School.

Essential Criteria

  • High level interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Experience in maintenance, gardens, grounds and general cleaning.
  • Experience in WHS practices an advantage.
  • Current or willingness to acquire and maintain a Satisfactory National Police Check and Registration Working with Vulnerable People.

Salary will be in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2018.
