The Opportunity: 

We are seeking a motivated Experienced AutoCAD Drafter to join our Drafting & Design team in Tasmania. With offices around the country, there is opportunity for inter-office engagement throughout your tenure. You will be assigned a career coach who will mentor your development and guide your project involvement through responsibilities that include but are not limited to the following:

  • Apply engineering design fundamentals to solve intermediate to advanced engineering solutions;
  • Liaise with the engineering & design teams and other team members to deliver practical solutions;
  • Contribute to a variety of major infrastructure projects whilst learning to design in a range of different materials under the guidance of our senior engineers.

What you bring: 

  • Extensive knowledge and experience using AutoCAD in 2D and 3D;
  • Solid experience in bridge technical drawing and drafting supporting project delivery of infrastructure projects;
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with multiple stakeholders; and
  • Strong experience in delivering projects within short time frames.
