The Company
  
Based in Arndell Park, our client is a worldwide manufacturer of custom-designed lift equipment and supplies all types of industries. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fantastic organisation in a modern, clean, state-of-the-art facility who are committed to providing a safe and supportive working environment and continued ongoing learning and development within the company. 
  
Responsibilities and duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Operate Amada and Adira Press Brake
  • Operate Amada CO2 Laser Cutter
  • Spray Painting and powder coating, not essential but preferred
  • Operation of spot welder and MIG Welding or willing to learn
  • Manufacture and fabrication to meet lead times
  • Working with the production team and Leading Hand
  • Forklift operation if required

The successful candidate will require the following attributes: 

  • Preferably 5 years experience in sheet metal work or fabrication
    or press brake and laser operation experience.
  • Maintain safe, tidy, clean area. 
  • Demonstrate a positive, proactive and motivated attitude to work
  • Physically fit with the ability to work effectively in a multi-skilled environment.
  • Forklift licence advantage but not essential.

Hours & rates:

Day shift hours: Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 4pm, Friday 6am to 12pm
Rate: $40 per hour + 13% Super + 17.5% Leave Loading + 5 weeks Annual Leave and Private Health Insurance provided.
