Traverse Alpine Group is seeking a talented and experienced Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals that exceed our guests' expectations. You will work closely with our Head Chef and Sous Chefs to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen and the timely delivery of dishes. If you are passionate about food, have a creative flair, and thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment, then we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to set recipes and standards
- Assist with the planning and creation of menus
- Supervise and train junior kitchen staff
- Ensure the highest levels of food quality, presentation, and taste
- Monitor and maintain stock levels and food wastage
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Contribute to the development of new recipes and menu items
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure a smooth operation
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role
- Strong culinary skills with a focus on quality and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Culinary degree or diploma preferred
- Previous experience working in an alpine or mountain resort environment is a plus
