At Bild Group we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional financial services and support to our diverse group of businesses. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our dynamic Finance Team.

You will bring along the following:

  • Tertiary qualifications in business, finance, or commerce.
  • Experience in a similar role is desirable.
  • Flexible team player with excellent multitasking and prioritization skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Keen attention to detail and professionalism.

The role will be responsible for:

  • Process credit card and business card transactions, address queries, and lead process improvements.
  • Manage fuel processing, including yard fuel, fuel cards, and the Bulk Fuel Australia account.
  • Handle monthly toll processing.
  • Prepare and distribute weekly debtors’ reports with timely follow-up.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and daily cash receipting.
  • Oversee the Accounts and Invoices Inbox, resolving complex issues.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliation of all intercompany AR and AP transactions.
  • Serve as Accounts Officer for the Services and General divisions.
  • Provide Accounts Officer relief during absences and peak periods.
  • Support Finance Team staff as needed.
  • Maintain ledger balances to the highest standards.
