Fund Accountant

.A global Financial services organisation you will play a pivotal role as a fund accountant and be part of their experienced and collaborative team.
Responsibilities:
Duties will involve:
- Unit Pricing: Accurate calculation and reporting.
- Month-End Report Packs: Preparation and delivery.
- Distribution Calculations: Accurate calculation and reporting.
- Taxable Income Calculation and BAS/GST: Ensuring reports are verified as correct before submission.
In addition to these responsibilities, you will:
- Investigate and Assist with Ad Hoc Queries: Provide support across various departments.
Qualifications and Skills:
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience: 2-4 years in fund accounting and/or unit pricing.
- Industry Knowledge: Good understanding of the financial services industry, including funds, operations, fund accounting, reporting, and custody.
- Investment Products: Theoretical and practical knowledge of investment products such as unit trusts, gross income funds, and superannuation schemes.
- Client Reporting: Experience in client reporting, handling client requests, and meeting SLAs.
- Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Software Skills: Experience with HiPort is ideal.
- Attention to Detail: A strong eye for detail.
