Position Details



This position fulfills a dual role as Relief Coordinator and Administration Assistant to the Head of Future Pathways and Partnerships.

This role coordinates the allocation of emergency and planned relief for all teaching staff. It also provides a high level of administration support to Head of Future Pathways and Partnerships. This includes supporting the administration for VET and other pathways, and RTO requirements. Furthermore, there is scope for professional growth and customisation within this new role.

This position falls under the Administration and Technical Officers Award at Level 5, with step progression based on years of experience. Working hours for this role are from 6:30am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday, during term time. This is an ongoing part-time position (0.866 FTE) commencing 24 June 2024.

Selection Criteria

• Knowledge of and a preparation to support the ethos and mission of the College
• Experience in education sector preferably in a similar administrative role
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Efficiency of process with a continual impact focused mindset
• Excellent organisational skills and a proven ability to coordinate and operate daily relief processes
• Ability to demonstrate a high level of autonomy and initiative in completing tasks and making decisions effectively
• Strong problem solving skills
