Based at our Mildura Base Public Hospital site a  permanent full-time opportunity  exists for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist  to join our friendly and collaborative team.

Reporting to the Chief Technologist , you will be responsible for performing all aspects of  Nuclear Medicine  including radiopharmaceutical preparation and Quality Control procedures to the highest standard.

As the area's  main provider of radiology services  at both  Mildura Base Public Hospital and our Healthscope court clinic rooms , you will be exposed to a multitude of unique and interesting cases, including Cardiac Imaging.

As a  Nuclear Medicine Technologist,  you will manage patients and operate specialised imaging equipment in accordance with professional standards. The ideal candidate will be a motivated and energetic person who is willing to learn in a busy private practice and hospital settings.

This position could be suited to a new graduate or a more established Nuclear Medicine Technologist.

Some of your responsibilities will include and are not limited to:

Performing all aspects of Nuclear Medicine including radio-pharmaceutical preparation and Quality Control procedures to the highest standard Consistently delivering high levels of patient care and service Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with patients, referrers, staff and managers Promoting and maintaining the highest quality and safety standards

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Demonstrated ability to perform high quality Nuclear Medicine examinations independently Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of health professionals and corporate staff Tertiary qualification in Nuclear Medicine Applicants must be AHPRA Registered and hold an VIC radiation license
