About the role

Lorna Jane is seeking an experienced Dispatch Supervisor to join the Distribution Team at our Brisbane warehouse located in Eagle Farm.

As the Dispatch Supervisor, you will effectively coordinate the movement of all shipments in and out of the warehouse to our customer in an effective and timely manner.

You Will…

  • Conduct stocktakes on existing stock as required to reconcile physical stock against warehouse system levels
  • Ensure that all freight leaving the building is in line with Lorna jane time frames and vendor requirements
  • Execute items for store builds and dispatch within the required time frame 
  • Receive all physical inventory and company supplies from delivery carriers
  • Ensure pallet control and accuracy with all LOSCAM accounts
  • Cross reference all goods brought into the warehouse against the manifest or purchase order to ensure accuracy
  • Place consumable orders with different suppliers against daily outputs and future trends to keep stock levels full during quiet and peak periods
  • Sort and allocate stock into the appropriate sections of the warehouse to optimise storage and efficiency
  • Fulfill all retail consumable orders as required
  • Load out trucks for dispatch ensuring compliance with CoR and Lorna Jane OH&S policies
  • Review space management and dispatch processes, implement improvement with support from the Warehouse Manager
  • Help prepare and build pallets for new stores in a timely manner to ensure a successful delivery within the delivery windows
  • Run reports to determine stock levels of consumable in store and replenishing when required
  • Prepare and assemble shipments including manifesting and loading the truck in line with carrier collection deadlines
  • Liaise with shipping carriers to ensure that the volume of freight is approved for collection

About You…

  • Previous experience in a warehouse/dock capacity
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Excel) skills
  • Current Forklift License
  • Current and valid driver’s license
  • Customer Focus and Service Mindset
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Previous experience with ERP systems, consumable ordering/management and pallet control systems i.e. LOSCAM is highly desirable
