Field Service Engineer

How will you get here?
This position is ideal for an experienced service engineer wanting to be involved with a dynamic team and exposed to a constant variety of customer application areas.
Education:
Typically requires a university degree, or a combination of education and experience that demonstrate the required skills.
Experience:
2 or more years of professional experience in ing in Electron Microscopy or similar field is preferred Candidates with no experience in a Field Service Engineering with exposure to Electron Microscopy are encouraged to apply Experience in ultra-high vacuum and high voltage systems is preferredKnowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Strong technical, analytical and troubleshooting skills Able to read and interpret schematics and troubleshoot electrical/electronic systems Able to work with and repair mechanical systems Able to troubleshoot and resolve PC and software issues Able to balance multiple assignments simultaneously Able to set priorities and consistently meet deadlines Able to work independently or collaboratively within a small team Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills Able to deal effectively with customers at all levelsOther Job Requirements:
Able to travel domestically and internationally often at short notice An Australian citizen or permanent resident A current driver’s licenceBenefits:
