Launceston Vet Clinic is a well-established community veterinary hospital located in the heart of the city center in Launceston, Tasmania. We are looking for an enthusiastic veterinarian to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have an upbeat, empathetic personality to provide both our patients and clients with an exceptional level of care in a friendly, fun-loving, experienced, and supportive environment. 
Total clinical freedom with autonomy is encouraged. Our caseload consists primarily of small animals, pocket pets, birds, and occasional urban fringe farms or exotic animals from local wildlife parks. 
We have recently relocated to a fantastic purpose-built facility consisting of four consult rooms, two dedicated operating theaters, a separate dentistry suite, imaging with digital X-ray, ultrasound, and dental radiography. Our vets are spoiled with highly experienced and compassionate veterinary nursing staff. Our hospital is exceptionally well-equipped with an X-ray machine, dental X-ray machine, ultrasound, electrocautery, orthopedic equipment, in-house blood machine, and in-house microscope. 
Our clinic is open six days a week, from 8 am to 6:30 pm on weekdays, and from 9 am to 1 pm on Saturdays. Out-of-hours work is referred to Vetchat for triage and, where appropriate, to either the after-hours hospital in Launceston or Hobart.

· 4+ years PQE veterinarian preferable, but enthusiastic recent grads would be welcomed and mentored
