The Role

Fixed Term (up to 5 years), Full time Level B – AUD$102,486 pa to AUD$121,504 pa (plus 17% superannuation) Bathurst (relocation assistance available)

You will be responsible for leading activities across one or several academic directions of the AICF and will be a strong research-focused scholar, who is interested in making a big impact in the field of supply chain management/IoT/Smart cities using emerging technologies with a focus on Regional Discovery and in contributing to and working within a supportive academic community.

This position would be suited to someone with a background in computer science, information technology, industrial and systems engineering or related fields with prior research experience in blockchain, NFT’s, digital twins and metaverse, cloud/edge computing, and their applications in healthcare, supply chain, IoT, and smart cities.

To be successful you will have:

A doctoral qualification in the relevant field. Knowledge and/or expertise in Matlab, Python, blockchain platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Hyperledger Fabric), smart contract development (e.g., Solidity), cloud/edge computing frameworks, simulation tools, VR/AR tools (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine), IoT platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure IoT Hub, IBM Watson IoT, Google Cloud IoT Core), supply chain management tools (e.g., IBM Blockchain Platform, SAP Blockchain), and smart city solutions. A track record of high impact publications.
