About the role:

We are seeking an Orderly Attendant to join our diverse, closeknit Central Sterile Services team at the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne. A critical role to RDHM’s operations, if you enjoy being busy, have great people skills and value supporting others, this could be the job for you 

Your key responsibilities include: 

• Transporting clinical instruments from the clinics to the Central Sterile Services Department (CSSD) for sterilisation / processing via trolleys.
• Cleaning handheld clinical equipment.
• Ensuring infection control of trolleys and related equipment.
• Transport medically stable patients through areas of the hospitals as needed.

A bit about you:

• You are organised and efficient.
• You work well under pressure, if required
• You value workplace diversity and teamwork.
• You enjoy interacting with others and have a customer service focus.
• You preferably have experience working in a hospital environment.
• Your knowledge of infection control is advantageous.
