The Opportunity
The Bays Private Hospital is located on the picturesque Mornington Peninsula, with close proximity to many local attractions such as coastal living, rural vistas and recreational activities, providing an ideal lifestyle location within driving distance of the CBD. The hospital consists of 100 acute beds and offers a range of acute medical, surgical, intensive care, obstetric and oncology services.
Supporting the service provision at The Bay’s Hospital, this role is ideally suited to a pharmacist keen to step into clinical pharmacy.
The small pharmacy team works collaboratively to provide a quality pharmacy service to the hospital which requires a hands-on approach in the day-to-day operation of the pharmacy.
Provide pharmacy and clinical services to the patients and wards of The Bays Private Hospital Have the opportunity to learn the rewarding skills of oncology pharmacy. A complete learning plan is available to support pharmacists new to the oncology pharmacy field. Be a team player in a small, tight knit team Have opportunities to develop clinical skills in a variety of wards with a patient mix that includes medical, surgical and ICU settings. Hold a current Pharmacist AHPRA registration with previous experience in an Australian based retail or hospital pharmacy Enthusiasm to grow and develop your leadership and pharmacy skills in a supportive environment Strong knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) You’ll be a great communicator both verbally and in writing You’ll have proven time management skills and a key eye for details Empathetic and understanding mindset Who are we?
