About the Service:

LikeMindis an innovative mental health service funded by Ministry of Health, providing a one stop hub and support for adults experiencing or having experienced mental health issues.

About the opportunities:

We are seeking passionate and experienced Accredited Mental Health Social Workers, and Clinical and General Psychologists, to join our multidisciplinary team supporting people living with mental ill-health, and their families. 

  • Located in the centre of Orange – our service offers a range of well-designed and modern therapeutic spaces with natural light
  • Work with adults aged 18-65 years
  • You will provide high standard assessments and evidence based therapeutic interventions (individual and group)
  • Contribute to innovative service delivery to improve the lives of adults experiencing mental health concerns
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate quality care planning for clients
  • Conduct Mental Health Care Plan Reviews (5th session) of clients provided to referring GP.
  • You will need to be eligible to provide services under the Medicare Benefits Scheme (MBS - Better Access).

Requirements:

  • Must possess tertiary level education in Psychology, Occupational Therapy or Social Work and be registered with APHRA (general registration) or AASW (accredited mental health)
  • Relevant experience working with clients with mental health issues
  • Eligibility to provide services under the Medicare Benefits Scheme (MBS - Better Access) is essential. 
  • Must be eligible to apply/currently hold a WWCC
  • Must hold/be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearance
