Job Description:

As a Cyber Security Analyst at Caleb & Brown, a leading Digital Asset brokerage, you will be at the forefront of protecting our digital assets and sensitive data in the dynamic and evolving field of Digital Assets. Your role is critical in safeguarding our systems and customer information from cyber threats and ensuring compliance with security regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Security Monitoring & Incident Response:
    • Continuously monitor security systems for anomalies and respond to potential security incidents.
    • Conduct thorough investigations into security breaches and compile detailed incident reports.
  • Vulnerability Assessment & Management:
    • Regularly assess IT infrastructure for vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
    • Stay updated with new threats and vulnerabilities specific to cryptocurrency technologies.
  • Compliance & Risk Management:
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards like ISO 27001, GDPR, and other relevant cybersecurity laws.
    • Conduct regular risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate identified risks.
  • Security Awareness & Training:
    • Conduct security awareness training for employees.
    • Develop and update cybersecurity policies and procedures.
  • Technical Support & Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with IT and development teams to enhance system security.
    • Provide technical guidance on implementing secure network architectures and encryption methods.

Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably in the financial or cryptocurrency sector.
  • Knowledge of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency-specific security challenges.
  • Experience with security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM.
  • Experience with Cloud Architecture and Security systems.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or similar are highly desirable.
