About Our Client

This organisation is a reputable leader within the distribution industry with a workforce of over 180 dedicated blue- and white-collar employees. This permanent, full-time role will be located predominately at their new Epping site, with the occasional travel to other sites in Victoria.

Job Description

Reporting to the HR/WHS Manager your role will include, but not limited to:

• Providing expert HR and OHS support to all employees.
• Support ER matters including grievances, investigations, and mediations.
• Coordinate staff training and development initiatives.
• Management of workers compensation claims.
• Participation in the Payroll/HR Implementation project, including testing and go-live support.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal HR and OHS practices.
• Ensure compliance with employment and safety legislation, including ISO guideline.
• Contribute positively to a fun and inclusive workplace culture and environment.

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• 3+ years of HR/Safety experience, ideally in a blue- and white-collar environment.
• Excellent knowledge of local HR practices and OHS regulations.
• Experience in HRIS system.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
• Sound problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• High level of organisational and time management skills.
