Security Operations Analyst

What you’ll do
As a Security Operations Analyst you'll provide analysis of any detected events, incidents and vulnerabilities and provide expertise in the technical aspects of information security to leverage insights to respond, detect, contain, and remediate attacks and threats to Tabcorp.
You'll also be responsible for monitoring and protecting the Group's critical infrastructure and production systems through the Security Operations Centre (SOC) monitoring operations to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Tabcorp’s production systems.
You'll be responsible to develop and maintain high-quality threat detection rules, queries, and alerts based on identified use cases, threat scenarios, and structured threat intelligence, including MITRE ATT&CK™ Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs).
What you’ll bring
Experience managing and providing security operations services in an enterprise environment Experience in risk assessment, security best practices and practical application of security controls in an enterprise environment Demonstrated experience with information security systems with hands-on Splunk technical infrastructure and experience Experience and knowledge of information security tools such as Intrusion Detection (Palo Alto, Sourcefire), cloud security (Zscaler, Microsoft Defender for cloud), email security tools (ProofPoint, Cofense), Endpoint Detection Response (CrowdStrike, MDE, SEP), SIEM tools (Splunk, LogRhythm, Sentinel), WAF & CDN (Akamai)What you’ll get
