What you’ll be doing

• A variety of work including water meter installations and exchanges

• Repairs and quotes for works regarding metering

• Assist in the training & ongoing development of meter exchangers as well as providing technical support

• Very clean simple works. No roof, under floor, sewer or construction tasks.

• Working across the Hunter Water network including Newcastle and surrounding areas

• Represent Service Stream in relation to customer complaints

• Ensure the standard of all work in the field is of a high quality and in accordance with approved work practices and standards required by the Client, the Company and service providers

• Ensure all incidents are reported as per company procedure

• Ensure that all tasks undertaken are performed in a manner consistent with OH & S policies and procedures of the company and the relevant state legislation

Experience and Qualifications Required

• Minimum 3 years plumbing experience.

• Current plumbing licence.

• Relevant Industry training.

• Current drivers licence.

• OHS Construction Industry white card.

• Excellent communication skills to ensure all staff are clearly instructed on procedures

• Attention to detail with high quality and workmanship

• Effective time management and the ability to prioritise critical issues

• Relevant knowledge of the Hunter Water network and the work practices required to install and exchange water meters
